Episode 25 - A Final Together

An outburst from several players caused some severe tension on board, as some of the sneakier plots and schemes have been brought to light.

Kiki: "I feel like some people have shown their dark sides there."
Lucas: "And I just lost one of my closest friends in the game... So for me it was a double punch..."
Kiki: "Yes. It was tough when Jayda and Hannes left, so I want to say that I know what you're going through now. We're okay, right?"
Lucas: "We are. Can't say that about the other two though... They just went savage at me."

Freya: "Your claim, that you spied on them?"
Euphelia: "... Oh that. So you think I didn't?"
Freya: "Yeah, I spied on them."
Euphelia: "Interesting... Good to know that you're watching us from the shadows, I'll keep my eye on you, thanks."
Freya: "... Oh SHIT!"

This tension also seeped it's way into the Challenge. As a result over two-thirds of the price money of the day was won by the Assassin.

Odessa: "You have all placed your bets. In 5 minutes we will text your task to your phone, along with the difference for the money the Jetsetters earn it will make whether you pass or fail your task."
Min Hee: "And another thing: if every one of you brings in at least §12.000 on bet money, the group earns a Clue. You might want to keep all of that in mind when deciding on whether to complete your task or not..."

Kiki: "Okay, better be quick... 'When... I... am...grown'..."

Man: "Ey! La Pasqua è già finita, coniglietto!"
Lucas: "Just smile and wave Lucas... Smile and wave..... Even though I have no fucking clue what he just said?"

Kiki: ".. I'm looking for Euphelia, have you seen her?"
Freya: "... Sorry.."

*Freya takes a bite from her marshmallow stick*

Freya: "Mouff full, talcin woul be ruwe."
Kiki: "... Clue taken, I'll look for her on myself... And if you wanna talk about things just ask me once you're done eating."

Kiki: "... Those are not yours. Why did you steal them from Jayda?"
Euphelia: "... I didn't steal them."
Kiki: "... They're Jayda's and I intend on bringing them back to their rightful owner."
Euphelia: "... But you still invaded my private quarters to get them."

Eventually Odessa decided that a vocal lockdown was needed to try and get the group back to sanity again. Even though the tensions still lingered around, it did help people to bite their tongues a bit.

Min Hee: "Altogether you've earned §33.000 for the group today. Sounds like a nice stash, but it was the lowest you could get after all bets were said and done. And as a result the Assassin has earned §67.000 today. Today's battle has been won by the Assassin."
Odessa: "You know what, let's do some group bonding activity after dinner! We should play some fun hide 'n seek and then just shut up okay?!"

When the Jetsetters were taken out for a final 4 dinner the ban was lifted, and the bill for the Assassin's deeds had to be paid with Euphelia's spot in the game, leaving Freya, Kiki and Lucas as the finalists of the twin season of Jetset!

Odessa: "Hey guys... I think we have to talk."
Euphelia: "Yeah."
Kiki: "Good idea."
Lucas: "Mhmm."
Freya: "Yup, we should."

Euphelia: "Even a dinner like this is still part of the game for them. For everyone..."
Freya: "The game never ends... And it sucks to be honest."
Kiki: "Yes, Three weeks of questioning everything the people around you do or say demands it's toll on your mental state. Jetset is like living in this psychological mind-fucking carrousel non-stop."
Lucas: "Yes, like 'I want to get off Mr Bonesassin's wild ride'."
Odessa: "That is a very accurate description you got indeed, guys."

Waiter: "Le bollette, signorina. The bills."
Odessa: "Interesting... Jetsetters, our final payment has arrived..."
Euphelia: "... Well, shoot... I guess the Assassin thought it was best to get rid of me at this point."

Euphelia: "... After all that happened there's one bit of good news for me in this though. I am sure that I've put the Assassin in my Rankings today, so with me being off the chopping block in the finale I'm sure to bank in that money. Good luck and lots of wisdom everybody. Now, good-bye, and I will see you in two days!"

Odessa: "... THAT is all folks, of our 17th and final Eliminee: Euphelia Nightingale!"

Only three Jetsetters remain: Freya Valquist, Kiki Lafayette and Lucas McCloud. The time where they had to worry about being Eliminated by the Assassin is over, the concern the three finalists have from now on out is to convince their fellow finalists - all the fallen Jetsetters - of their innocence the past 3 and a half weeks. Each one of them has a history of actions that left their mark on them, but who will play the game in such a way that they'll escape the wrath of their fellow players? Who will play their cards right in the final Challenge?

Freya: ".. Hey..."
Kiki: "Morning Freya."

Freya: "So... Remember when you said I should ask you to talk about what happened?"
Kiki: "Mmh, you wanna talk to me?"
Freya: "Yeah.. The last couple of days have been really rough on everyone here in general."

Kiki: "Yeah, tell me about it."

Freya: "So.. I'm sorry about some of the things I said and the things I did. I've been rude and taking some things personal that I shouldn't have in hindsight. I... I've allowed the game to get to my head and get the better of me. So.. Could you forgive me for my unpleasant behaviour?"

Kiki: "I know. It's a tough game and it's been going on for three and a half weeks. I have to admit that some of the things did hurt.. But we have to keep in mind it's the game and the paranoia getting to us, and that besides all that we're still friends."

Freya: "So.. All's okay between us?"
Kiki: "Of course. We're okay. If we want to catch the Assassin we have to keep our heads up high."
Freya: "Yesss. We absolutely have to."

Kiki: "It's pretty clear who it is by now, isn't it?"
Freya: "Yup. And it ain't me."
Kiki: "It ain't me neither."
Freya: "That leaves only one remaining suspect."

Kiki: "Lucas?"
Freya: "Exactly. It all adds up to him, doesn't it?"
Kiki: "Well... we just have to ace the final Challenge and then we can rake in the big stacks!"

Freya: "Exactly. My track record might've not been the best, but my gut feeling's good on today."

Freya: "OH MY GOD!!! I just made it to the final three! Me, Freya Valquist, Top 3! Who would have thunk? I have struggled so much in the Challenges, and now I could possibly win this. Sure I had a few bumps on the road to here, but it was worth it. Speaking of, I should probably talk to Kiki and Lucas and apologise. Sure, I'm still mad at them and I probably still have every right to be, but I had a bit of time to reflect my own behaviour and figured that I wasn't much better. Okay, I didn't talk behind the back of my friends and lied about it, but I behaved like a petty child who can't put a difference between the game and friendship."

Freya: "After all, this is still a game, and even though what they did hurt me, I'm pretty sure this was a strategic move, and honestly I can't even blame them for what they said about me. I haven't shown myself to be the most trustworthy and I have been the center of the majority of the fights. I honestly feel kinda stupid about it. Let's just hope that they are both ready to talk this out with me, I hope it's not too late."

Freya: "Glad you could come with me here.. I really, really have to talk to you."

Lucas: "Is this a game proposition or?"

Freya: "No... Well, kinda.. but.. Past few days have been really rough between us, I realised just how rough it was for you after Oliver has been Eliminated. I've made some insensitive remarks at you, and since then the game got personal to us. So, since the finale is here now I really want us to be on good terms together. I really want to bury the hatchet and just be friends again, and I'm apologising for my outburst the past days."

Lucas: "Don't worry about it. I have to admit that I've been taking things too personally as well. I've really allowed the impact of Oliver's Elimination to shaken me up. It was rough, and my heart still wishes he was around... but it's part of the game that people have to leave. So yeah, thanks for coming to me."

Freya: "So we're on each other's good pages again?"
Lucas: "Yes, let's try to get there as well as we can."
Freya: "Good, we can't let personal grudges cloud our minds anymore."
Lucas: "Especially now we're so close to the finale."

Freya: "Yup. Assassin versus Jetsetters. We better make sure we'll win the final Challenge, right?"
Lucas: "Yes, we Jetsetters have the upper hand right now. If we score a nice sum we'll get more in our pockets than the Assassin. Which is gonna look bad on her resume."
Freya: "Yes. That's one punch to their reign."

Lucas: ".. 'Their' reign you say? Not 'her' reign?"
Freya: "From my perspective the Assassin could technically be either you or Kiki."
Lucas: "Hmm, so you think that I am the Assassin?"
Freya: "... What makes you think that?"

Lucas: "The way you word things makes me think that you either are still uncertain about the Assassin, or that you think that it's me, but you don't want to say it directly in my face."
Freya: "... If you believe that I think it's you, then you should do your darnest best to convince me that you're not the Assassin. Or else you'll be toast tomorrow."

Lucas: "... I simply haven't taken a lot of charge this season. It's kinda disappointing I've mostly been floating around on the motions of other people."
Freya: "It's a solid cover for the Assassin though. It's worked well for Hector last season."
Lucas: "I'd rather think they'd pick someone who isn't like Hector to be the Assassin."
Freya: "Which is me?"

Freya: "Listen, I'm sure of one thing, and it's that I'm not the Assassin... Could it be Kiki after all?"
Lucas: "She comes across as more trustworthy to me to be honest."
Freya: "Hmm... Which is a perfect cover for the Assassin to have. Yet if you think about it shes done some shady things as well."
Lucas: "... She does have moments where she cost the team money."

Lucas: "It is so obvious to me that Freya is the Assassin. She has flopped so many Challenges, that so many people have crossed her out for being too obvious. And look where those people went. But she's right at one thing: I have to keep Kiki in mind as potential Assassin as well. Can't fixate myself solely on one person. I think I might have to re-evaluate the two of them after the Challenge before I commit to my final choice."

Kiki: "I feel as I'm in a tough spot right now. I've been working both with Freya and with Lucas for some time now, and I genuinely like both of them. But being with them in the finale means that one of them has been lying to me about their game. I have an idea who it is, but I am afraid that it's fueled by my heart and my personal and at this point I want to make absolutely sure that I am picking my final suspect solely on the game."

Lucas: "Hey, there you are."
Kiki: "Mmm!"

*Kiki swallows her sip*

Kiki: "Final 3!"
Lucas: "Yup! We made it!"
Kiki: "I'm glad that the stress of the Assassin Eliminating us is over."

Lucas: "Yes, that was terrible. Not just us, but the stress that anyone could be going."
Kiki: "Your face was on a poster once, right?"
Lucas: "Yup. Thank goodness I had that advantage. I can live with this final three to be honest."
Kiki: "Agreed, thank goodness people like Frankie, Wendi, Meredith and now Euphelia left. Freya can be quite a handful but at least she means well as a person."

Lucas: "Yeah.. She came to me this morning, to apologise for her behaviour the past couple of days."
Kiki: "You too? She made things up with me as well this morning."
Lucas: "She did? Noice... And interesting."

Kiki: "Interesting..... Indeed..."
Lucas: "If she is the Assassin then she'd want to be in our good books."
Kiki: "Absolutely. If she's the Assassin then she would want to build some positive agency right before the final vote."
Lucas: "Exactly."

Lucas: "So if that convinces the rest of the players..."
Kiki: "Means it's up between the two of us."
Lucas: "Shame. I think Freya is definitely a main candidate to be the Assassin."

Kiki: "I can't deny that. Most blatant sabotages that cost the group a lot of money are on her account."
Lucas: "That's what I am thinking as well. It's obvious by now."
Kiki: "That's the only thing that makes me question if it's really her. She's so obviously suspicious that I'm thinking: 'Kiki, it cannot be her, the Assassin wouldn't play it that way'."

Min Hee (through the intercom): "Finalists! Please gather in the hallway for the final Challenge."

Kiki: "Oof. There we go."

Lucas: "Yup.. But, if it's not her then you're the only remaining option, Kiki."

Kiki: "Or you. You've laid low the entire game, but you did do some funny things."

Lucas: "The same can be said about you, Kiki."

Freya: "Oh shit, they're coming this way."
Kiki: "I guess that can be said. I can't deny that I made some bad moves that cost us money. That goes to everyone."
Lucas: "Hmm, can't disagree there... Even Oliver messed up a few times, and that's saying something."

Kiki: "So, Lucas. Are you the Assassin?"
Lucas: "No, Kiki, I'm not the Assassin."
Kiki: "Me neither."
Lucas: "Honestly?"
Kiki: "Honestly."

Lucas: "Time to get to the Challenge then."

Freya: "Well, one more Challenge."

Kiki: "Yup... It's kinda weird, isn't it? Only one more Challenge and then it's almost done."
Lucas: "This might've been the craziest month in my entire life."

Freya: "Yeah.. At least it's in my top 5 of craziest months."
Lucas: "Hey, that's not fair, you're much older than we are."
Freya: "Nya nya nya, young 'uns!"

Lucas: "Eh, at least we're still young."
Kiki: "Young, fresh and we know how to have fun!"
Lucas: "Yeah, we should have a party tonight, bwahahah! See for how long you can catch up."
Freya: "Easy peasy, I'm a Fairy. In human years I'm like 31."

Kiki: "Wait, that's brilliant Lucas! We should have a party tonight. Final 3, remember?"
Freya: "Yeah, count me in on that!"
Kiki: "Last season the final 3 celebrated the final night together as well, we could build up a tradition for future seasons!"

Lucas: "Welp, guess we got to plan something guys."
Kiki: "Yup. Food? Drinks? Anyone here okay with drinking alcohol or not?"
Freya: "I dunno, don't want a hangover at the finale tomorrow. What do you think?"
Lucas: "Maybe we could all sing a karaoke song that sums up our personal journey this season?"

Odessa: "Why use those songs for tonight, when we could also have you sing them live at the finale?"
Lucas: "Whoa?"
Kiki: "Oh.. Hey there."
Min Hee: "We could also help with preparations for your final 3 event tonight."

Odessa: "I like the sound of that, Min Hee."
Min Hee: ".. But first, we need to address the Challenge coming up."
Odessa: "Right. Anyone excited to be blindfolded?"

Finalists: "What?!"
Min Hee: "And after that you'll have to each choose the easy, the hard, or the medium path."

Odessa (through the intercom): "For the next Challenge you'll each start off on different paths and face the dilemmas it brings you before you'll meet together and have to work together to win. Once you're given the starting signal, you may remove your blindfolds and look around the room you're standing in."

Odessa (through the intercom): "Your first goal in this Challenge is to escape the rooms you're in. Pay attention to your surroundings and you might find clues and objects to help you figure the way out. Freya, as you're a Fairy we have to specifically say you're not allowed to use magic this Challenge."
Freya: "Shoot."

Odessa (through the intercom): "Your second goal in the Challenge is to find the dilemmas hidden throughout the rooms, three per player. Those dilemmas are the ones you and the other Jetsetters answered back in China. The more you can find and bring outside, the more chances you have at winning Simoleons for the Jetsetters' stash. If you manage to bring along three dilemmas to the end, you earn a final Clue to the Assassin's identity."

Odessa (through the intercom): "After you escape the first room you'll end up in the same, second, merged room. Everyone who makes it in there can work together on their way out. But remember: only the Jetsetters who made it in there at the moment you escape the merged room can escape."

Odessa (through the intercom): "If you're stuck on the way out, you can stand against the wall and count to 60 in order to have Min Hee give you a hint on what to do next. She has camera access and knows the way out. But remember: you are on a time limit, so you can't depend on those hints too much. If you fail to unlock the exit in the merged room in 30 minutes, you lose the Challenge and all the money goes to the Assassin."

Odessa: "If you do get out though, you will meet me outside. I will ask each Jetsetter the dilemmas they managed to bring along. Each dilemma answered correctly is worth §14.500 for the Jetsetters. Any dilemma answered incorrectly, or not brought in here at all means the money goes to the Assassin instead."

Odessa: "Is the Challenge clear for you?"
Jetsetters: "Yes!"
Odessa: "Okidoki.. The Challenge starts..."

Odessa: "Now!"

Odessa: "... Well... Guess I'll be waiting here for like 30 minutes."

Odessa: "Might as well tackle the song of the day here."

Kiki: "When I started the Challenge, I decided to inspect a painting of a car first. That picture turned out to be a puzzle which I had to solve. I got it right soon enough, and then a water tap popped out of the wall, I guess we need to fill something with it later on. Then I took note of a side table with a drawer in it..."

Kiki: "Darn... It's locked. I have to find a key or something."

Kiki: "Hmm... This carpet looks really out of place. Now what if there could just be something underneath it?"

*Kiki tries to move the carpet with her foot. It is stuck to the floor*

Kiki: "... They've done their homework here. Next."

Kiki: "What's this..."

*Kiki investigates the painting. She realises that it is a puzzle*

Kiki: "Oh! I have to fix the pieces of it..."

*A hidden drawer under the painting opens and a battery falls out of it. Kiki catches it.*

Kiki: "Hmm interesting, I wonder if the battery needs to be used for something. 'M=13' is interesting too."

Kiki: "This is also weird though."

*The flames of the torch make the clock unreadable. Now just use your imagination to get that image in the other episode pictures as well, okay?*

Kiki: "Hmm I bet I have to dye it out with that water from the tap. Before I do that I might need a cup or something to hold the water in though..."

Kiki: "But where?"

Freya: "Sooo, first thing I did in that room was go for the drawer. I tried to open it, but it was locked. I looked next to it, and there was this airconditioner vent thingy, but it was screwed tight. Welp... So I then went and tried out a painting puzzle of a car. When I solved it, some tap popped up next to it. And just what other object might we need that water for?..."

Freya: "So I'll need another object to carry the water to the fire to put it out."

Freya: "Darnit! Something else then."

Lucas: "The first thing I noticed when I removed my blindfold was a big, yellow tapestry. Hard to miss. I frisked it, and even though it was stuck to the wall I could feel a clear gap behind it, I had to find a way to get through it. After that I checked out a drawer, but it was sadly locked. After that I did found a painting with pyramids, which turned out to be puzzle. Once I solved it a battery fell out of it, and on it someone scrabbled "M=13" with a marker."

Lucas: "I should check some of the other paintings now."

Lucas: "Yup. Just as I expected."

Lucas: "... Welp, there's too much smoke to see... but what if..."

*As I said, just imagine all the smoke and fire*

Lucas: "No, it's stuck."

Lucas: "Guess I have to do something else first?"

Lucas: "Oh right, paintings."

Lucas: "Here's another puzzle!"

Kiki: "Next thing.. That mirror over there."

Kiki: "No.. It's a painting..."

Kiki: "Another puzzle!"

*A hidden drawer behind the painting opens and a screwdriver falls out of it. Kiki catches it. There is also a note attached to it, saying: "1, ?, 3, 4, ?, 6, ?, 8, ?"*

Kiki: "Well hello there screwdriver. Hmm so from the sequence we are missing 2, 5, 7 and 9... Hmm."

Kiki: "But for the moment."

*Kiki unscrews the airconditioner vent*

Kiki: "There we go."

*Kiki removes the vent. There is a code luck in it with 4 numbers*

Kiki: "I wonder..."

*Kiki puts in 2-5-7-9 into the code lock*

Freya: ".. This carpet maybe? It bet there's something underneath it!"

Freya: "... NO! It's stuck."

Freya: "Guess I'll have to find a way to get under there too..."

Freya: "Waitasec, is that a..."

Freya: "There are numbers and signs all over this room, this must be part of a code... Oh shit, it's not working.. It's missing a battery."

Freya: "Wait... Could there be something behind that tapestry?"

*Freya tries to pull the tapestry off the wall. It doesn't budge*

Freya: "Damn these objects are needy."

Freya: "Next!"

Freya: "Wait, it's another puzzle!"

*Freya attempts to solve the puzzle. She eventually gets it*

*A hidden drawer behind the painting opens and a battery falls out of it. Freya drops it by accident*

Freya: "OH NO!"

*Freya quickly picks up the battery. She reads the 'M=13' written on it*

Freya: "Oh good, it's not broken. Ah, this must be about an alphabetic code, I see."

Freya: "Time to put it in."

Freya: "And now to figure out the code..."

Lucas: "Bingo!"

*Lucas catches it. There is also a note attached to it, saying: "1, ?, 3, 4, ?, 6, ?, 8, ?"*

Lucas: "Now let's see what we'll do next?"

Lucas: "Hmm, the battery is miss- wait a sec, no, I have it!"

*Lucas inserts the battery into the code panel*

Lucas: "Yes, it worked! Now the code..."

*Lucas enters 2-5-7-9 into the code panel*

Lucas: "Wrong?... Fuck. Just keep looking, Lucas."

Lucas: "This thing has screws."

Lucas: "So if I use my screwdriver here to unscrew them..."

*Lucas does as he says. After that he removes the vent lid*

Lucas: "Another code, also 4 numbers... Of course."

*Lucas enters the code 2-5-7-9. The lock opens up*

Lucas: "That code was on the screwdriver. The battery had... M=13 right?"

Lucas: "Omg, what do we have here..."

Lucas: "I am a dwarf and I'm digging a hole."

Lucas: "Diggy diggy hole, digging a hole."

*Lucas takes a few stabs with the pickaxe at the tapestry*

Lucas: "Yes! I got a hole!"

Lucas: "Let's see what's behind here..."

Kiki: "Oh my god, I found a dilemma!"

But as you read the details in the contract, you read you're expected to use illegal performance-increasing medication to improve your performance. Freya: "Min Hee, are YOU alright? You sound shaken AND stirred!"

*Freya finishes counting*

Min Hee (through an intercom): "So, here goes. You wasted the acid needed to get out of the room. You can still escape, but it requires quite some brute force of your body..."

Freya: "Why am I so fucking stupid?"

Freya: "Why did I think it was a good idea to waste the acid on the carpet? Now I will have to hurt myself to get out, and it won't be as easy as my wings clipping out of every room I'm in."

Freya: "So... What do we have left?"

Freya: "Hmm, there's a vent in there. What if I..."

Freya: ".. Whoopsie-Daisy better not fucks this up."

*Freya manages to peel off the button of the clock, which allows her to remove a clock hand*

Freya: "Yes... I don't suck for once."

Freya: "Now let's see if I can break open the vent and try to escape from there?"

*Freya crawls at the vent to try and use the clock hand as a screwdriver. The material of the clock hand is not strong enough however, and the top almost breaks off*

Freya: "For fuck's sake! At least I tried..."

Freya: "... Might as well put it back now."

Freya: "Hope I didn't break it too much... Let's see if I can do something with it..."

*Freya fiddles around with the clock*

Freya: "I'll probably have to figure something out before I can do that... But I'm almost running out of time and I have yet to do the merged room as well!"

Lucas: "Min Hee's calling an ambulance right now. If we manage to get out by the time we arrive we can finish the Challenge."

Kiki: "... She's just letting your eye bleed out in here, just like that?"
Lucas: "Nah, I pretty much told her to let me finish the game if I can."

Kiki: "... I'm still worried."
Lucas: "We should continue with this for now. Brought anything with you?"

Kiki: "... I brought this shovel with me. And I see a rubble pile in there. Maybe I could..."
Lucas: "I have a pickaxe, but I'm yet to fully dig it out."
Kiki: "Let me do it, I don't want anything else to fly in your eye!"

Lucas: "But-- but-- I'm the diggy diggy dwarf here!"
Kiki: "Not taking any risks, sorry! Anything else you've done in here so far?"
Lucas: "You see those candles in the corner? Three of them randomly turned on when I opened the door of the cupboard there."

Kiki: "Interesting... You think we might need to do something to turn the others on?"
Lucas: "Not sure, you see that knife block there? They're in the same pattern as the candles. But I can't take them out of it, I think there's some mechanism that prevents that."

Kiki: "Hmm... Maybe we have to push them in instead?"
Lucas: "... Perhaps that's it.- Wait! Look there, in the rubble!"

Kiki: "Hmm?"
Lucas: "There's something in the rubble, is it a dilemma?"

*Lucas picks up the object in the rubble. It's indeed a dilemma*

Odessa: "As Freya never escaped to the merged room in time, she will only be standing on the sidelines to see what happens, she is not allowed to participate. As for Lucas and Kiki, as you were both present in the merged room when you escaped, you will both be eligible to participate in the discussion."

Odessa: "Here is how it'll win down: I will ask you about the dilemmas in the order you found them. I will specifically address the player who picked up the dilemma to answer it. They can take advice from the other player who escaped the merged room, but the player who picked it up is the one who makes the final answer. Any dilemma that has been answered correctly is worth §14.500 for the Jetsetters."

Odessa: "The first dilemma: was found just after 5 minutes by Kiki. It is in fact about Pearl Edgeworth:

"'You're contacted by an influential sponsor so you can afford running championships. But as you read the details in the contract, you read you're expected to use illegal performance-increasing medication to improve your performance."

Odessa: "As you address this to the sponsor they tell you that they have enough influence to have you never run competitions again if you don't sign.' 
Would you still choose to sign the contract or not?"
Kiki, do you think Pearl would have replied with yes or no to this dilemma?"

Lucas: "Let it be known Kiki, I have no idea."
Kiki: I'm not too sure either, I think Pearl would do the right thing and not sign. I think she's a good egg like that."
Odessa: "You'd like to lock that in?"
Kiki: Yeah let's lock that in."

Odessa: "Let's take a look at her full answer..."

Pearl: "Oh, that’s easy. I’d ask to ‘think about it a bit more’. Either they’d say okay, or they’d say ‘sign or die’. I mean, obviously not die, but you get the idea. The former, I got get a bodycam from my uncle, get Iris’s nerdy coworker to jury-rig my Fitbit, and record myself signing the contract. Then, I’d take it to whatever sports authorities my trainer thinks are necessary. If they force me to sign right there and then, same thing, but I’d have to record my training sessions instead."

Pearl: "Either way, the recording makes them shut up and listen, even if they think I’ve altered my contract. Worst-case scenario, I make the authorities drugs test me before my first race. No way I am running like that. But yeah, whatever happens, I’d sign. Then the authorities will get a nice little ‘anonymous tip-off’. The bastard won’t know what’s hit him."

Pearl: "What? I’m a good person, not necessarily a nice one. I might have high empathy, but because of that I have no sympathy for deliberate cheaters. I don’t care if Apollo’s a literal god, dude’d better be grateful he had to leave so early because the way he treated my sister was the actual worst."

Kiki: "Oh... I'm surprised in Pearl. I thought for sure that she'd have chose not to sign it."
Odessa: "That means you have lost §14.500 to the Assassin."

Odessa: "The second dilemma: was found after the 22 minute mark by Lucas. It is in fact about Jayda Lafayette:

Odessa: "Hmm, Min Hee's protocol book hasn't anticipated on this so far..."

Euphelia: "It is a sheer coincidence that we're just sitting here and minding our business when all of a sudden the lot of you waltzes in to do a Challenge."

Odessa: "Hmm..."

Euphelia: "You didn't even notice we were sitting here up til now!"

Eugene: "Hmm, I can't deny with that."

Min Hee: "Hmm... There's are rules that prohibits Jetsetters to seek out contact with Eliminated players."

Eugene: "Holey hell, Lucas!"

Lucas: "Challenge accident, to make a long story short."

Eugene: "Oof, I'm so sorry..."

Odessa: "Min Hee's right there, it's good that you've just been sitting here without signalling anything to the players, but it's best if you don't talk now. We were about to return to the Jetsetter, so all I can ask you is to not follow us there."

Eugene: "We don't have to though."

Odessa: "Exactly, we still got a few words for you to conclude the very last Challenge of the season."

Min Hee: "Wrapping up protocol, you know?"

Odessa: "First of all we have yet to announce the final sum of money that will be divided among the Jetsetters, and the amount that the Assassin will receive, if they manage to survive the vote tomorrow."

Min Hee: "The Jetsetters on one hand, have earned §976.250 for their winnings. Every time anyone has ranked the Assassin, they've earned a share of this prize money. The higher they ranked, the more the share.

The Assassin on the other hand has managed to snatch §1.023.250 from Challenges and put in in their own pockets. The difference is smaller than last year, but the balance favours the Assassin a bit again."

Odessa: "Buuut, if we add that together we only get §1.999.500, which is a weird number... So hereby we're gonna add §250 to both stashes, free of charge. Not only can you thank us for that in our fanmail, we also upped the stakes for the finale a tiny bit, which is a little more exciting."

Min Hee: "With the new numbers, the Jetsetters have §976.500 on their conto, and the Assassin has a nice sum of §1.023.500 which they'll have to defend tomorrow. If they don't, the Jetsetters will win a whopping 2 million Simoleons!"

Min Hee: "We'll give you a few minutes to discuss this Challenge together. And remember, this will be broadcast, so whetever you say and do now can earn or cost you the money."

Odessa: "No pressure!"

Lucas: "Well, first things first... Freya, two of us made it out of there, only one did not."

Kiki: "Could you tell us what exactly happened in your room and how you didn't make it out in time?"

Freya: "First, really suspicious that you gang up on me again, but..."

Freya: "I needed a couple of hints to work it out, some of the puzzles I had to deal with were very tricky. Like, there was a panel I had to put a battery in, and I had to translate letters on the wall into numbers and add them up. And then I had to carry around statues to unlock things in a table drawer, first one of them being a chainsaw. I used it to cut through a giant tapestry."

Lucas: "Wait, did the battery carry a code saying 'M=13'?" 

Freya: "Yeah... How did you know?"

Kiki: "I had one too... and I also had a giant tapestry covering something. Did anyone of you had a clock in there as well?"

Freya: "Yes, with a torch in front of it right?"

Lucas: "I had one too.. Never got to extinguish it though. The first hint I bought told me I could get out already."

Kiki: "Hmm, can I ask you something, Lucas? How long did you take to escape from your own room?"

Lucas: "Not too long, 10 minutes, give or take? You think it's suspicious?"

Kiki: "Yeah.. it looked like you've been busy for a while already when I came in. And if you're the Assassin you know how to get out quickly."

Freya: "If your goals was to get out before I made it then you succeeded."

Lucas: "Girls, do you really think that if I knew the solution already I'd willingly explode a glass bottle in my face???"

Kiki: "... No, if you'd have willingly done that that's just crazy, or VERY dedicated."

Lucas: "Exactly, and if I was the Assassin I wouldn't go that far."

Freya: "You got a point there, that'd be insane. Buuut... There's also something sus you did I wanna point out, Kiki..."

Freya: "... You brought in one riddle, and then you go and answer it incorrectly."

Kiki: "Yes, I know. I'm surprised myself Pearl answered yes to that, I expected her to take the honourful route. And well, she did in her final train of though, but not in the way I expected her to. I've misjudged her."

Freya: "Unless you already knew that was her answer."

Kiki: "I can't bring nothing against it if you think that way about it. But yeah, I at least helped out Lucas to get Jayda's right."

Lucas: "Yes, if you did not you'd be very suspicious."

Kiki: "I know my sister well, so yeah. Nobody wants to be suspicious at this point in the game."

Freya: "Yes... One of us is gonna lose it all."

Odessa: "Sorry to interrupt, but before you'll battle it out to not lose it all, we got one fun night of karaoke planned."

Kiki: "Ooh, that's right."

Min Hee: "We got some arrangements and a couple of surprises planned for tonight though. And we obviously can't spoil those surprises yet."

Lucas: "Surprises you say?"

Odessa: "So, to put it simply: we need each one of you to scram to your own room for now. We'll call you when it's all done and set up."

Freya: "Oof, hope it won't take too long."
