A Challenge diving into history was almost handled perfectly by the Jetsetters.

Odessa: "If you succeed, you earn §160.000,-. Plus, an extra mystery reward for one of your duos..."
Min Hee: "You have 1 hour, starting now. Good luck and lots of wisdom."

*The clock in the hallway chimes*

Min Hee: "Jetsetters. Your time's up."
Odessa: "§160.000,- straight to the Assassin's. And the mystery reward will stay a mystery until the season recap in the finale."

The aftermath of that Challenge did influence the group dynamics a bit, and what followed were some struggles between the women, especially Pearl.

Wendell: "Or maybe not. Kinda like Wendi, like wavelengths."
Pearl: "I'm not on her wavelength, like at all. She's so distant and calculating, while I'm.. not, I'm a people person."

Wendi: "So are you in, Iris?"
Iris: ".. That makes me part of it too then.."
Wendi: "Excellent. So, have you seen anything useful this Challenge?"
Iris: ".. I didn't see any of these portraits or anything we had to gather."

Pearl: "I trust you, y'know. But I don't trust Wendi. She gives me a bad feeling. I'm only allied with her because the producers said so. And I wish I could tell Iris that... but I can't. Not in five minutes."

Pearl: "I also have a plan, and that's to have fun while playing."
Wendi: "And what is your definition of fun?"
Pearl: "... Er.. you know, fun?"
Wendi: "Thought so. No plan."
Iris: "... Please..."

Iris: "Wendi's a pain in the butt, isn't she?"
Pearl: "Ugh, tell me about it. Unbelievable how she kept acting during the Challenge, like..."
Iris: "I saw what you mean. She is so..."
Pearl: "Controlling, stuck in her way, bitchy?"

Said Challenge was in fact a tour around the world in 80 countries. Easy enough to pull off, but with the presence of an Assassin nearby things were bound to not go as they were supposed to go...

Min Hee: "You will start off in Ghana, which lies in Africa."

Odessa: "You will, in the order that you just decided on, take turns in moving to an adjacent country to travel to, with no second visits allowed."

Min Hee: "To finish this Challenge, you have to end the route back in Ghana and make it a circle. If you finish in 75-85 countries, all the money you picked up will go to the Jetsetters."

Odessa: "Per country under 75 or over 85 however, §10.000 will be taken and put in the Assassin's stockpile instead."

Kiki: "Finland!"
Euphelia: "Wait, why go back?"
Iris: "Probably all trying to get to our respective cash countries. We're all at cross purposes but don't want to say anything because Assassin, I think."
Euphelia: "We're together on this though! This is a sabotage."

Euphelia: "Cool down girls.. Let's go to Antarctica."

Benjamin: "Aww, you skipped Chile."
Wendell: "Poor Chile."
Jayda: "Chile will be missed by everyone, there were so many memories we could have had. Goodbye Chile."
Odessa: "Heh, you guys."

Meredith: "South Africa."

Eugene: "Wait."

Benjamin: "Namibia."

Oliver: "And then Angola."

Odessa: "Unfortunately did you not meet the requirements for either Clue; you finished in 82 countries, while for the Clue you needed to either finish in exactly 80 countries or have someone make the route uncompletable."

Min Hee: "Since 82 does fall into the 75-85 range I gave you at the start of the Challenge, you can keep all the money you've earned by visiting certain countries. Out of a possible §160.000, you earned a whopping §130.000!"

Immediately after the Challenge, the Jetsetters were allowed free roam of the local market. For some that freedom was a little too much though...

Meredith: "I don't want your cheap plastic homemade crap, lady."

Euphelia: "Oh my god..."

Melinda: "Meredith, you are going to show some more respect now!"

Merchant: "This is not plastic. It's real gold."

Melinda: "Meredith?! Are you insane?!"

Merchant: "That's it!"

Meredith: "What now?!"

Merchant: "Out!"

Hannes: "Meredith, we have to talk."
Meredith: "Oh SHIIIT! That old dirtback heard that!"
Hannes: ".. Old dirtback heard that too."
Meredith: "Shit! I mean, shit, how do I get out?"

Meredith: "I'm not gonna agree with anything you-"
Hannes: "We'll discuss the Challenge and our suspects, and then we'll leave eachother alone when we don't have to team up."
Meredith: "... What's in it for me?"
Hannes: ".. Not being around me?"

To counter all the drama going on, Ethan, Freya and Kiki are plotting to set Lucas up with Eugene. Freya made a plan for a party to get them closer...

Freya: "I have to go now, I really need to talk to Ethan and Kiki immediately! I think I have the ideal plan to get Lucas and Eugene together, HAHA!!!"

Freya: "Hey guys!"
Freya: "The egg will hatch tonight!"
Ethan: "And that's code for you-know-what?"
Kiki: "That's code for you-know-what."





Freya: "Hey Kiki, wanna switch up dance partners? The egg will hatch!"
Kiki: "Oh, sounds nice.. You okay with that, Hannes?"
Hannes: "Oh, that's fine... What was that last thing you said, Frey?"
Freya: "Woo! Let'sa go!"





Oliver: "People, I brought drinks for everyone!"
Euphelia: "I feel thirsty. Shall we go and get drinks?"
Lucas: "Perfect!"
Freya: "I'm getting thirsty too, how about we get us some drinks too?"
Eugene: "That's fine with me."

Whether that plan would work out flawlessly is a different matter though...

Freya: "Danced our legs off. So we need a small break, haha."
Eugene: "Especially since my foot still feels sore after jumping down the latter. Though I can't say no to heating up the dance floor."
Lucas: "I'm not a party person though. More like a loner."
Eugene: "Just like Euphelia. I'm not surprised the two of you got matched."





Ethan: "Yeah, I remember that time when Darren... Well, there's usually one party person and one not-so-party person, right?"
Freya: "Yeah, just look at me and Hannes. I'm the outgoing one, while Hannes is more reserved."
Euphelia: "You mean just like me and Eugene?"
Freya: "Exactly! Or my buddy Jayda and Kiki. Or look at Meredith and Melinda."
Euphelia: "Hmm..."

Euphelia: "You and Ethan are up to something."
Freya: "... What?"
Euphelia: "I'm not stupid, I've seen you walking around at the party... You will leave my brother and duo partner alone."
Freya: "..."

The party sadly ended on a downer note, as an unfortunate cookie ended the game for Benjamin and Melinda.

Min Hee: "So... who would like a cookie?"

Jetsetters: "....."

Min Hee: "Anyone?"

Jetsetters: "....."

Min Hee: "Come on, it's just a cookie."

Euphelia: "... Here goes..."

Melinda: "NO!"

Benjamin: "... What..."

Min Hee: "Benjamin, Melinda, I'm sorry, but you're the first official victims of the Assassin this season. Please say your final goodbyes to the rest of the group and follow me to your ride to the airport."

Min Hee: "First Eliminated, and 5th and 6th to leave: Benjamin Grieswald and Melinda Rathmore."

Benjamin and Melinda were chosen to be the first victims of the Assassin, and their absence will leave some holes in the hearts of the Jetsetters. How will the others handle those holes? Who will succumb to them and who will find new ways to fill them? What new ties will emerge from these changes? Will we see new alliances rise and shake the game dynamic up?

Jayda: "I've been a little bit down since last night... I really miss Benjie and Melinda. This boat is feeling a lot more emptier without them here. Everyone else seems a little more shut down too following the Elimination... I think the game has got more real for them. I'm still enjoying my time, partying, dancing, singing... but something has changed since the last Elimination and I'm not sure I like it. I am still loving the people on this boat though, Freya is my new adopted sister, she is such a funky chicken and I love that about her. She is just willing to have fun even if she is the oldest person here. I'm looking forward to the next Challenge too, what on earth will it be? Either way let's bring on the next game! Bloop."

*Jayda snaps her fingers with attitude.*

Hannes: "I swear to the Watcher, if the next challenge doesn't involve a switch option, I'm actually considering leaving this pest of a show. What Odessa did to Benjamin and Melinda was cruel and uncalled for. Guess you don't have to wait for full moon to turn into a beast. And I'm not letting Min Hee of the hook that easy too. Who in their dang mind would announce an Elimination during a party? Frey put in so much hard work into this party, and all of that ruined by that horrible diss track. And although Freya jokes it of, I can feel that she is hurt. I have empathy, something certain people on this boat probably think is a made up word. Seriously, the only people apart from my sister that I actually don't mind talking to are Pearl, Jayda, Kiki, Iris, Eugene and Lucas. Euphelia and Oliver never made an effort to talk to me, Meredith...well, you know what I think about her, the Ferris twins are need to be locked up for their own safety and I don't trust Ethan as far as I can throw him. Don't think I didn't realize how much time he spends with Freya. I don't know what he and Freya are up to, but if he gets too close with her, he'll get to know me. She never had a good catch when it comes to boyfriends, and I don't know if this is romantic, but if it is, I don't trust his motives. So, now lets get to this challenge, and please let me switch with Wendi, both she and Meredith are poison to the mood of Pearl and me."

Eugene: "Pretty good."

Eugene: "Are you alright?"
Oliver: ".. I need to collect my thoughts for a bit."

Jayda: "It looks like everyone's suffering from post-elimination bummedness."

Hannes: "Yeah.. I still can't believe Odessa."
Oliver: "Ugh, indeed."
Eugene: "I really hope she's learned her lesson by now."
Hannes: "Honestly, it's just despicable."

*Hannes sits down*

Hannes: "She actually spies on the confessionals we do. I was just getting my anger off my chest and when I walked out she, completely wolfed out, leaped at me and startled me!"
Eugene: "What?"
Jayda: "Why?"

Odessa: "BOO!"
Hannes: "WAAAAH!"

Hannes: "She said something about not waiting for the Full Moon to show the beast... which is something I said about her throwing Meredith and her- her- diss track at Benjamin and Melinda."
Eugene: ".. She really.. how do I put it... puts work in her public image."
Hannes: "Yeah. Though her actions and behaviour certainly do NOT help her. She's been really getting on my nerves lately."

Jayda: "She wasn't that bad last season, right? Was she?"
Eugene: "I don't recall that, no. Although, maybe when that Shirley woman sabotaged the cameras..."
Jayda: "Yeah, I'd be raging too if someone sabotaged MY show. Though this season... 'Pretty good for the ratings, you know'. Just pointless."
Hannes: "Yes! that, plus constantly dealing with Meredith almost makes me want to drop out of this stupid game. I'm literally on the edg-"

Oliver: "Then why didn't you actually leave yesterday then?!"
Hannes: "I beg you pardon???"
Oliver: "Benjie and Melinda did want to play! If you and Meredith just dropped out yesterday they'd still be here now!"

Eugene: "Calm down Oliver."

Oliver: "All I've seen of you the last few of days is just whining and complaining about this game! All you say is 'Meredith's picking on me, I wanna go home' or 'I'm too old to get along with the young people, I'm so lonely'!"
Hannes: "That is NOT true, sir!"

Oliver: "It's all I see from you!"
Hannes: "I also go out and jog with others on occasion! I've been running with Pearl, Wendell, Eugene, even dueled Benjamin while he was swimming! Can't say that about you, hm?!"
Jayda: "Guys, please!"

Oliver: "I'm focused on the game! It's what I'm here for in the first place! Instead of grumbling and complaining around!"
Eugene: "Oliver, you have to calm down right now!"
Oliver: "And I'm sure thousands, maybe millions or people would kill to be here!"

Jayda: "Okay guys, we can talk this out in a civil manner."
Hannes: "Kill? Did you just out yourself as Assassin, hm?!"
Oliver: "Ugh, stop it you! You're not doing them a favour!"
Jayda: "You don't wanna make me go Kung Fu Panda on you!"

Hannes: "And what the fuck is that supposed to mean?!"
Oliver: "It's your entire attitude that reeks of zero respect to all the people who'd rather be here instead of you! You're living their dream and all you do is whine and complain and want to quit! If I could trade you away to have Benjie back I'd do that! Not even getting started on the people who didn't make the cut! You're acting so ungrateful towards them!"

Captain Dockhatt: "Better get ye to Min Hee..."
Eugene: "That'd be a good idea..."

Hannes: "If you didn't had to verbally attack me."
Jayda: "Hannes!"
Oliver: ".. Then why would I hit Eugene in the face?"
Hannes: "... I dunno, but you're definitely responsible."

Jayda: "Guys, you are now going to stop this fight, before anyone else gets hurt!"

Hannes: "... I'll just go on a quick run."

Oliver & Jayda: "....."
Oliver: "... I don't even know what just overcame me anymore..."
Jayda: "I do hope for you the hosts will be lenient..."

Kiki: "I'm so glad that Operation Lucas is underway, Eugene and Lucas would make such an adorable couple. They remind me of these gay students in my class at college, they were definitely opposites but they ended up getting together, they've been married ever since college, it's so cute. We do need to be more aggressive though, I think we are dawdling around the situation with knitted gloves. IT'S TIME TO TAKE ACTION!"

*Kiki sneezes*

Kiki: "Sorry about that, I think I'm coming down with a cold. Ironic isn't it, on the Jetset of all places, the sun is roasting hot and I'm coming down with a cold. Typical. In other news, I'm really appreciating my time with everyone on the boat. Everyone has such unique qualities to them, I'm learning something new everyday... I'm also keeping my eye out for that Assassin though! To be quite honest, I haven't got a clue who it could be. Mainly due to over-analysing every little thing from every one. I do suspect some more than others though and so far my gut is leading me to vote their way when it comes to the rankings. We'll just have to see what happens going forward."

Kiki: "We have to evaluate yesterday's plan."
Ethan: "Well, at least we got them to talk together at that party."
Freya: "If it weren't for that abrupt Elimination that ruined the built-up momentum..."
Ethan: "That was really unfortunate. We'll have to try and get them under that cherry tree again later."

Kiki: "Yeah, we have to play hard from now on."
Freya: "It's interesting to note though that Euphelia approached me and is suspicious of our actions."
Kiki: "She has? That's worrisome..."
Freya: "I felt like that at first, but then I thought again..."

Freya: "She doesn't have the right to tell us we can't come near Eugene and Lucas. We're free to do what we want. If I recall correctly she doesn't have her name tag on them or something."
Ethan: "You got a point there."
Freya: "Yeah, and I say we shouldn't let her bother us."

*Kiki blows her nose*

Ethan: "Are you okay Kiki?"
Kiki: "Yeah.. just a cold. While on Jetset."
Ethan: "That's kinda funny."
Kiki: "Yeah, it kinda is. Back to Operation Lucas though."

*Kiki coughs*

Kiki: "Pardon me. That cherry tree myth, I feel I have to make up a little for not doing that much yesterday."
Freya: "Nah, it's alright. At least Euphelia didn't mention you when she confronted me."

Odessa: "Iris is right with sitting outside, I'm gonna go up and get a bit of a tan as well."
Freya: ".. But you're turned into the Wolf! How does that work?"

Odessa: "I can turn back when I feel like. It's not a full moon or anything."
Freya: ".. I guess she has a point?"

Ethan: "What was that about?"
Kiki: ".. Is she doing alright?"
Ethan: "... I dunno. She did leave all of a sudden."
Kiki: "Yeah. Was it the part about her father?"

Freya: "Well, I am kind of sad my party had to be abused for an Elimination and an "attempt" of a diss track. But...at least the party was a banger before, and I think most of my fellow contestants enjoyed their time, and honestly, this is all that matters to me... Okay, the fact that Melinda got eliminated before Meredith and Hannes were able to switch teams is not cool, and we couldn't throw her into the water, but life is still great. And I think we really made a step forward in Operation Lucas, Okay, Euphelia "might" have caught us, but honestly, what we do shouldn't be her business. I mean, who is avoiding pretty much everybody here, her or me? Right, her. And in all respect, even if Ethan, Kiki and I wouldn't have this plan, she isn't the one to tell me with who I am allowed to speak. The last time I checked, Euphelia doesn't own Eugene and Lucas. Besides, apart from this Operation, I befriended him on this boat, so she is literally the last person to tell me to not speak to him. But it also made me suspicious. Euphelia, I got my eyes on you, even if I land in the water for that. Another thing that worries me is Hannes. I mean I get he is all fed up with this whole Meredith thing, but I get the feeling he doesn't let me or Pearl out of his side. Pearl I can get to be honest, she is having a hard time here, and it is obvious that Hannes and Iris are the only people she can trust in here, but I told Hannes so many times that I'm an independant woman and despite my gullible ways, I can look out for myself. I think he thinks that Ethan wants something sexual from me, but trust me, we are only friends, even though he is kind of a hottie, and I'm only getting friend-vibes from him. So Hannes, there is nothing to worry about, and even if there was something romantic, you still shouldn't worry so much. I get you are suspicious because I never had luck with guys before, but I wanna remind you that I am still your older sister. And I won't let you, the bully girls or any other person stop my ultimate goal: To have fun on this fucking boat...and to win of course."

Odessa: "Coming with me are 2 duos who would rather piece their way through the game."

Min Hee: "And coming with me are the remaining 5 duos who would rather play hard to achieve victory."
Odessa: "You may start deciding who goes where now."

Ethan: "Okay, so we need 4 Piecers and 10 Playhards. Any volunteers?"
Oliver: "I volunteer to Piece my way through the game, if Iris is fine with it."
Iris: ".. Sounds fine with me. Ack!"

Lucas: "Iris, you okay?"
Iris: "It's that beetle again. It doesn't stop following me."
Pearl: "Oh no, not that beetle again."
Lucas: "Euphelia, I think we're more Piecers than Playhards as well."

Euphelia: "Uh, no. I'd rather be in the Playing Hard group."
Lucas: "Oh? Why?"
Euphelia: "I have some people I want to keep my eye on, and I can't if I'm on the other group."
Lucas: "You have a point there. I'm convinced."

Wendi: "I feel the same."
Freya: "Not surprised it said people are the members of Operation Lucas."
Ethan: "Hmm, maybe..."
Hannes: "Any volunteers to join Oliver and Iris on the Piecer side?"

*Crickets chirp as nobody replies*

Ethan: "You know what, I volunteer to go. Is that okay Kiki?"
Kiki: "Are you sure about that? I'd rather keep my eye on more people as well."
Ethan: "Yeah, though someone's gotta go there."

Kiki: "Jayda, if I go with Odessa, could you fill me in on the details here?"
Jayda: "Sure. If you share what you were up to."
Kiki: "... I guess I'll go Piecing then."
Wendell: "That's settled."

Lucas: "Eeth, we'll keep eachother up to date too."
Ethan: "Sure."
Odessa: "I believe you've decided who'll go with me?"
Jayda: "Yes!"

Odessa: "If the Piecers would go and join me here now please!"
Oliver: "That's us."
Kiki: "Me and Ethan, and Oliver and Iris."
Odessa: "Great."

Odessa: "Follow me and you'll receive your task this Challenge."

Min Hee: "For this Challenge you are going to play a game of Mahjong. You'll have to match tiles to remove them from the board. But to remove tiles, they must be completely free of other tiles on either the left or the right, and there may not be a tile on top of it."

Min Hee: "The tiles however, are not ordinary Mahjong tiles, they come in several types:

1) Money tiles. If a duo matches 2 tiles of the same amount of Simoleons, they add that amount to the Jetsetter's winnings. Blue numbers indicate a low amount, green numbers represent a medium amount and red numbers stand for a high amount of Simoleons. Every amount has 4 tiles total.

2) Clue tiles. If a duo matches 2 Clue tiles, they earn a private Clue for after the Challenge. There are 8 Clue tiles in total, which means a maximum of 4 duos can earn a Clue. A duo can only earn 1 Clue, even if they match multiple sets.

3) Switch tiles. If a duo matches 2 Switch tiles, the members of the duo will change partners after the Challenge is over. Players who do not grab these tiles will stay with their partners, the change will occur only among all duos who match a Switch tile set.




Min Hee: "This is the field you'll be playing on. Darker tiles are on the bottom layer, while lighter tiles are on the top layer and have a darker tile underneath them."

*Iris sits down and stares at the camera for a few minutes. She reaches for the blinking red light on the wall. She stops. Whatever. Let her crisis be broadcast to the world. Who gives a shit. She sighs and slides off the chair onto her knees*

Iris: "Hi. It's me, again. Sorry to bother you. Because I do bother you, don't I? Does the change of scenery help? Sick of the same old candles?" 

*Iris sighs*

Iris: "Probably not. But you have to admit, it's beautiful out there. I'm not going back there until the soil dries up, though. I don't want to have to try washing my jeans in the river again. I'd prefer to be with the birds and trees and flowers, but I can't. So instead I'm here, where it's quiet and private, kind of. Heh. I'm rambling. Pleasantries, really." 

*A series of desperate whimpers follows from here on out*

Iris: "Do I bother you? ...Was it something I did? Episode one? Why do you not talk back anymore? Are you mad at me? Please don't be mad at me. I know I'm bad. But I'm trying. We're all trying. Please. Are you even there anymore? Were you there when Daddy was dying? What about when I wanted to know what I could do to make it up to you and Pearly? Are you not listening or not answering? I don't even know which one's worse."

*Iris breaks down sobbing*

Iris: "Please, just give me an answer! Just to let me know you're still there! Please..."

*Nothing. There's nobody there. Iris gives up and leaves the room*

Vul: "You see Iris over there? She's been acting all moody and all the past week and it's starting to bum me out a little."
Lenka: "Yip, yawoo. Yip yip yaw? (Yes, I could see that. I'm supposed to cheer her up?)"
Vul: "Well, since I am technically the Watcher here and she spends half her time in the diary room trying to contact the Watcher she's used to... Should I give her a sign or something?"

Lenka: "Yaw yippip yip? (Will you leave me to sleep if I say yes?)"

Vul: "... I guess?"
