Jetset - A Sims 3 Interactive Reality Show: Episode 2

The new generation of Jetsetters, ten pairs of twins in total, was already confronted with a Challenge before even setting foot on the Jetsetter. They first had to search around in Martoele, the Netherlands for information to find their final checkpoint.

Benjamin: "We gotta go in town and find cellphones and tickets."
Oliver: "- and we have to find some merchandise and arrive asap, I could hear all that."
Benjamin: ".. Great, just wanted to check. You got the map?"

Meredith: "Look at what I found here."

Melinda: "... Great job, Mer!"

Meredith: "... Now stop calling me Mer, hm?!"

Lucas: "Nothing here."

Ethan: "You sure?"

Lucas: "Unless it's behind a tree, I'm positive."

The first 5 twin pairs to finish got a chance to earn a Clue towards the Assassin's identity.

Odessa: "Jayda and Kiki..."

Jayda: "Yes, that's how our parents named us when we were born."

Kiki: "Psssht.

Odessa: "Haha, but anyway ladies... You've finished this Challenge in second place. Congrats!"

Odessa: "Frankie and Jerry were the first complete twins here. Belcastro Bros, please follow me."

Frankie: "Ehhh nope, don't call us that."

Odessa: "On this table I'll place a 10 by 10 grid. On it you'll have to place 10 boats horizontally or vertically, 2 per twin duo. Boats cannot be adjacent to eachother in any direction. After that the Attackers will come in and shoot at the grid in 8 rounds, hoping to sink them by hitting all their parts. Every twin pair of you whose boats both survive the bombing will get to redeem their Clue."

While the last 5 twin pairs got the chance to take the Clues to the Assassin's identity.

Odessa: "Before shooting at them, you'll get a Dutch translation riddle each round. If you can guess the correct translation for each word, you'll be able to pick one row or column and get full intel on how many boat pieces are in that row or column. Which can make shooting them much easier.

And now the money stakes: every correctly guessed word earns §12.500 for the Jetsetters, while every ship completely shot down will drag §5.000 of your winnings to the Assassin. Capiche?"

Euphelia: "Dang. I don't speak no Dutch... Eugene!"
Eugene: "Yeah, sis?"
Euphelia: "Jij spreekt Nederlands, guess what? Your turn to shine."
Eugene: "But that was from GCSE?! I don't remember anything. I told you my Dutch teacher was a muppet and I never attended his class!"

Meredith: "Seriously, it's terrain! A 4-year-old can guess that!"
Odessa: "You want to lock in terrain?"

Odessa: "It's correct! You can now pick one row or column to reveal."

It all resulted in a good day for the Assassin.

Benjamin: "Ollie, wasn't A9 our last square."
Oliver: "Alas, you're right."
Benjamin: "Bye-bye Clue."

Odessa: "Well well well... Looks like 3 more ships were sent to rot on the sea bottom. The second ship of Diana and Apollo on C3-5, the second ship of Benjamin and Oliver on I2-4, and on A-B7 the first ship of Frankie and Jerry. Meaning that another §15.000 won't make it to the Jetsetter's winnings, and that Frankie and Jerry won't earn a Clue."

Odessa: "Final numbers: §2.500 Jetsetters, §97.500 Assassin. Looks like they've done some good business today."
Lenka: "Yip yip!"
Odessa: "Odessa: "To the defenders: 7 ships were shot down and all of you used to own one of the wrecks. Which means, no Clue for any of you. In that aspect the Assassin also has done well."

After the new musical twist was explained and demonstrated, it was time for our Jetsetters to finally settle in.

Odessa: "That symbol means you've been selected for a MUSICAL SONG! and you get to sing along in order to not get a strike! Awesome isn't it? Bwahaha."

Once on board, it didn't take long for the fresh Jetsetters to build new friendships...

Hannes: "I consider it a heartfelt conversation about life's dreams and aspirations."
Freya: "Yeah, you could put it that way as well."
Jayda: "You know what I'm currently aspiring for? A new haircut."
Kiki: "Too bad Mama Rox isn't playing this year."

Lucas: "But anyway, what do you think of the game so far played?"
Melinda: "It was kinda unbalanced between attackers and defenders. Luckily we got on the attacker side, so we could do something."

Euphelia: "But would the Assassin try to be one of the defenders?"

20 Jetsetters just settled in on the Jetsetter. Before two of them will leave the cruise for good, they'll have one more opportunity to try and read their fellow Jetsetters. But just how much will this next Challenge influence the stakes of who stays and who leaves? And whose will go through the worst nightmare of Jetset and be the first ones to leave?

Min Hee: "Soo... I hope you've had a good night's sleep, Jetsetters.. Ahem.. Though Odessa would like to apologise for her methods of 'gathering' you all."

Odessa: "..... Like I just said, welcome to your next Challenge. For this Challenge you'll be devided in 2 groups, based on your Room picks. Group 1 will consist of all Rooms on the Port side of the ship, and Group 2 will consist of all the rooms on the Starboard side of the ships."

Min Hee: ".......... The previous Challenge you've been working together with your twin sibling. From this Challenge onward however we'll juggle it up a little... Every person on one group has been matched with a person from the other group. And it's up to you to find out who is matched with whom.
Odessa: "Every round the Jetsetters on one of the groups will be able to pick the person they think could be their match. First come first serve. After that one of the wannabe matches can volunteer to be sent to the Truth Booth."

*Odessa points to the Truth Booth*

Min Hee: "The two Jetsetters who get sent to the Truth Booth will get confirmed whether they are one of the 10 matches or not. After that it's also revealed how many of the 10 overall matches you made are correct. Then it's rinse and repeat and the other group gets to pick people."
Odessa: "This Challenge will go on for 10 rounds, unless you figure out all correct 10 matches in an earlier round; then the Challenge will stop at once. Every overall correct match in the round the Challenge ends is worth §10.000, for a total maximum of §100.000."

Min Hee: "You can also earn a Clue. If you manage to find 1, 2, 7 or 8 matches by the end of the Challenge, you'll earn a Clue. BUT... only the minority group will actually receive the Clue: the 1 or 2 who get matched for 1 and 2 matches, and the 2 or 3 who don't find their match for 7 and 8 matches."
Odessa: "And... If you manage to get exactly 9 matches together by round 10, each and every Jetsetter will receive Immunity UP TO THE FINALE!"

Min Hee: "To add a few extra rules: Once a match has been confirmed as correct, they're out of the game and can't participate in the discussions anymore."
Odessa: "Group 1 will begin picking matches."
Min Hee and Odessa: "Good luck and lots of wisdom."

Hannes: "Kiki, shall we go?"
Freya: "How about us, Eugene?"
Kiki: "Sounds legit to me."
Eugene: "Why not?"

Diana: Actually with a bit of thinking and study I have figured it out, if there is something you don't understand I find study helps quite a lot. Also consulting with my brother also helped me out a bit."
Apollo: "Yep it is pretty cut and dry peeps."
Diana: "Yes as he says, very clear to be seen."

Diana: "It is so easy a monkey could do it. Basically it is matched in an alphabetical order with one twist, or should I say an anomaly, or difference, make a list of those in group one by A-Z and then do the same with those in group two putting those names next to the other ones in a A-Z as well, for example Apollo-Eugene. A is the first letter in group one and E is the first letter in group two, but there is a twist or the people here wouldn't make it that easy, there are two names that need to be switched an anomaly or difference, I think or we think."

Diana: "That Pearl and Jayda's names need to be switched. And it could possibly be relationships which are considered neutral, since it is not based on attraction at all, as is stated by the hosts, plus I got a little bit of a tip off from Lenka leading me to a few choice books. Apollo: "Can I start talking now?"
Diana: "Yes dear brother if you MUST!!!"

Apollo: "Well from my point of view, I really don't think anyone here would want to see me, taking my sweet time with a lady in the truth booth, it might get heated in there, it is possible it could be based on relationships that could remain, "just friends" or just end up hating each other. So I came up with that the twist a abc was my sisters idea with a few tweaks from me and ca-bam we got a plan oh yeah BABY!!!"

Diana: "Well anyway, I hope who I picked will be the right choice to, lets just make an agreement to not try to tear each other apart, I am trying to be nicer to the people here. I am sorry will you forgive me."
